I attend school in Midtown so it was a strange feeling to be blocks away from national news as it unfolded. I am close with one other person in this city and when I couldn't initially get a hold of him this morning....Oy vey....The emotion I felt.
Fortunately, I am safe, as are those I know. So very sad for those directly affected by this morning's shooting.
